Alea
Last night was a VERY long night for Alea, Mommy and Daddy. Alea has had a cough for few days, but last night it got really bad. We only had one breathing treatment left, so we saved it until she really needed it. She woke every 10 minutes due to coughing. Finally at 2 a.m. Carmen got up and just held her and laid with her on the floor until 5 a.m. She finally fell asleep really well at 5 and I was able to get 2 hours of sleep in bed. Brad was up with her from midnight until 2. He got thrown up on as she was coughing so hard she vomitted. I took her to the doctor today and he agreed it was her asthma. We got more breathing treatments and are giving her a cough medicine. Hopefully she sleeps tonight. Hopefully we all sleep tonight!! It is so hard seeing your baby struggle and not feel well!! Please pray for Alea. Thank you.

Hi Carmen!!! It was so fun to get your comment on my blog, thanks for saying hi! I've spent SO much time today reading almost your entire blog, what a story! I told my sister about your blog because she and her husband are in the process of adopting two kids from Korea (they already have two girls who she gave birth to, but they're 10 and 13 now so they decided it was time for more, and this time from overseas!). They started the process last July and have finished most of the paperwork and home visits, now they're in that long waiting phase.
Your girls are so cute and you look like you're an amazing mom. I love the picture in one of those flashback posts where you and Braylen have paper and balloon hats on, and she's looking at you with this look that says, "you're the coolest!" So fun.
I'll be praying for Alea and for sleep for everyone!
Andrea
