Thanks to Grandpa and Grandma "Wayne" the girls enjoyed an art project today. They designed their own hot chocolate mugs! Tomorrow morning they will get to use them for the first time. They had a fun time!!!

What makes the marker stay on the mug? Does it "bake" on or what?
I'm wondering if the color will be dishwasher safe, cause I use my dishwasher for EVERYTHING.
Keetha--the box says Handwash ONLY. It also says that these are special markers and a specially glazed mug that accepts the markers. I hand washed them and they stayed the same! Hopefully they will last. I hope I don't forget and put them in the dishwasher :)
