Lazy Fall Break

Braylen is on Fall Break yesterday and today. It has been a lazy break, but fun. I have been under the weather this week and yesterday we hung slept in and lazied around in my room for much of the morning!! Here are the girls lounging in my bed.

Last Weekend

I am really behind on blogging. I'll show you pictures next week of why, but here are some pictures of the girls with Mamaw and Papaw last weekend. Brad and I went away on a much needed weekend and the girls went Trunk or Treating at Mamaw and Papaw's church. Here are their costumes mom dressed them in. Braylen was to be a bee as well, but she saw the giraffe and talked them into letting her be that instead...lil stinker!!

I am soooo cracking up!! Grandma Weaver called today and was asking if she had HSM dolls. I asked her which she had and then she went into list mode!! I didn't realize what she was doing until just a little bit ago. So, I guess Brad and I along with the rest of the family not mentioned doesn't have to do Christmas presents this year! I am so glad she asked the Weaver's for the $92 American girl doll!!! That checks that off my list :)

She's a Smart Cookie!!

At 18 months, Braylen knew all her letters and most her sounds. By 2 she had them all mastered and by 3 was reading. I have doubted Alea would follow suit, but low and behold, today as we were taking a bath, she named all the letters and all but 4 of the sounds!!! She is 28 months old!! You go, girl!!!! Alea doesn't like to perform like Braylen did, so you kinda have to trick her into letting you know what she knows!!!! Unless that is something she wants RIGHT NOW that you have said no, then she has no problem at all letting you know :)

Happy 6th Birthday!!

Braylen's birthday was on Tuesday, October 7th. We had her big extended family party on Saturday at the Pumpkin Patch. It was 80 plus degrees, not super fallish weather, but beautiful all the same. Braylen wanted a Hello Kitty party and that is what she had. We had a great day!!

Cupcakes!!!!

Braylen wanted to go to Pizza Hut for her birthday meal. After eating pizza we came home for chocolate cupcakes!! Yummy!!!

Birthday Presents

This year was a clothing kind of year!! Braylen NEEDED clothing so bad!! She has grown so much. She got a few toys too!! She loved her Hannah Montana t-shirt and the Lite Brite. I remember playing with a Lite Brite when I was a child at my grandma and grandpa's house. It was so much fun! The girls are going to have fun designing with this cube.
