Keetha, Sarah and Laura all get an autographed art piece from Braylen for being very close!! Thanks for participating ladies! I'll email you for addreses to send the art to!!
Braylen wrote this letter this morning. Brad took her down and fixed her breakfast and then got her on the bus. I came down an hour later and found it. I knew exactly what it said, of course I used to teach first grade and may have a little more experience, but can you tell what it says? I'll reveal later!!! First three to guess correctly wins an autographed copy of Braylen's art work!!
PS. Braylen had help with the last word (Daddy admitted to helping her with it, but she did all the rest by herself!!) When I first read it I knew he had to have helped with the last word, there is no way she would have spelled it correctly on her own!! Happy Guessing!!
I went with Braylen's class on their first field trip Thursday. We went to the Roann Covered Bridge, the Stockdale Mill, The Charley Creek Maze and the Wabash Museum. We went to the mill, maze and museum in celebration of Mr. M. The covered bridge was just thrown in for good measure because it was close to the mill! We had a great time, but I am not cut out to be a kindergarten teacher anymore!!
We finally have Braylen's bus schedule figured out! The bus driver didn't show up on Wednesday to take her to school which made a very upset mommy!!! But, she rode the bus to and from school and Thursday and here are pictures of her waiting for the bus and getting ready to board the bus. She LOVES school!! She comes home VERY tired, though. Yesterday, she got home and we jumped in the car to go pick up Alea from Aunt Shelley's house and she fell asleep as soon as we left Shelley's. I had a very hard time getting her to wake up when we returned home!
Well, we all made it through today, some better than others, but we all made it!! Braylen was up and ready to go at 6:30 this morning. She was so excited! She went into her classroom and asked Mrs. Brubaker if she was her teacher. She then said, "I have a note from my mommy for you!" She found her rug and sat with the kids and was in her element!! I made it to the hall before I started crying!!! Braylen never saw the tears, but poor Alea did! She kept saying, "Mama..." I purposely started painting the preschool wing today at church so that I could get my mind off it. I invited other mom's taking their kids to kindergarten as well. It was good therapy! We will continue to paint all week!!!
Tomorrow, Braylen will ride the bus for the first time!!!!
Aunt Kiki came up on Friday to help with our Garage sale. She french braided Braylen's hair and put Alea's in pigtails!!! Alea also had fun doing Kiki's hair too. She did a nice job of combing all the gel out of her hair!!
