Braylen LOVES to bake with me! On this day we were baking cupcakes baked in ice-cream cones. It was a lot of fun and very yummy!! I think this is going to be one of Braylen's favorite treats. She kept trying to sneak more and more of them!!! Yikes...

Happy 80th Birthday Grandma!!
Today we went to an 80th birthday party for Grandma Fleck. She is the one in green in the picture below. I couldn't get a picture of her alone as she was always surrounded by others who came to share in her special day. We had a good time seeing extended family. Braylen quickly found the cousins and engaged in a good ole game of duck, duck goose! Happy Birthday, Grandma! We love you and are so happy to be your grandchildren!!!

Look Who Came to Visit Today...
Not many days go by that we do not see deer in our field or back yard. Today there were several out in the field, but this one came up close and hung around and didn't seem too scared that we were looking at her and taking her picture! We love seeing the deer here--it's one of the perks of living next to a woods in the country!
Our Girls
Today we hung around home and were quite lazy!! It rained all day and Braylen was disappointed she couldn't play outside. We let her play on the front porch and she started blowing bubbles. This drew Alea's attention and you'll see them interacting through the front door together! Alea is pulling her self up all the time. Here is a picture of her standing waving at the camera (sorry the picture is blurry--for some reason the flash didn't go off, but I thought it was cute!!). We were suppossed to all go to Aunt Shelley's tonight, but Alea isn't feeling well. We don't know what is wrong other than a cough and runny nose and just a fussy baby. She didn't sleep well last night or today at all, so I stayed home with her and have just now gotten her down for a "nap" at 6:45 p.m.!! I will wake her in an hour and let her play for a bit and then get her down for the night. She should be hungry when she wakes because she hasn't eaten much at all today.
Just a Lazy Blogger...
My mom in law emailed me today and asked if I was feeling ok, if my mono had returned or something because I hadn't posted this week. I am just a lazy blogger this week. We really haven't done much besides Braylen going to VBS in the evenings. I haven't taken any pictures. We haven't swam or anything since Monday! Just been plain lazy!!!! I will get with the program and snap some pictures this weekend and post! Hang with me....

Happy Father's Day
Today we went to church and then home for lunch and naps. We then went to Curt and Amber's house for a cookout and swimming. The kids had a blast. Braylen jumped in the pool off the diving board for the first time as well as went into the pool from a slide! She loved it! She even managed to teach Aubreigh how to go under water and like it! The girls had fun and so did we. Make sure to check out the picture of the big kid showing his stuff off, yep, that's my brother, still the kid at heart! Happy Father's Day to all you dads out there! The girls and I sure think a lot of our dads and we hope they had a great day and know that we love them!

Our Lil' Fish
Braylen woke me up at 7:15 this morning with her swim suit on asking when we could get into the pool!! She loves to wear her goggles and swim under the water as much as her life jacket will allow her. We bought her two new floats while we were in Florida: a sting ray (which I love and have stollen from her) and a turtle.
Whipped Topping...Yummy!!

Our Weekend
Yesterday walked in the Strawberry Fest Parade with His Heart Our Hands Orphan Care and Adoption Ministry. We just pushed our adopted kids in strollers or wagons, carried our banner and threw out candy and ink pens. It was a lot of fun. I think we will try to enter other parades and even come up with a float!! Posted here are pictures of part of our group.
Today we went to church as a family and then had friends over for a cookout tonight. The kids all swam and we had a great night of fellowship!! Brad tried a new recipe on the grill and it was GREAT!! He is becomming a resident griller!!
We are looking forward to a down week that is suppossed to be filled with warm air and sunshine. We are hoping to spend a lot of time in our pool this week!

Happy Anniversary
Brad and I just celebrated our 6th year anniversary. We went to Orlando, Florida together to our favorite resort, Liki Tiki Village. We got amazing plane ticket deals and decided to get away to relax and have some fun. We went with the intention to swim, sleep and eat out!! Tropical Storm Barry put a little damper on the swim part, but we had a very relaxing time and was able to hang out at the pool all day on Sunday. Here are snapshots of our resort and us!! We were so looking forward to a full night's sleep and sleeping in and we loved it, but missed our girls so much. We called them everyday and I think we bought them something each day as well. It was nice to get away, but also nice to come home and as Braylen said, "Be a family all together again!"
Oh the Places We Went...
Here are a few snapshots of the places we went. Our first evening in Orlando we went to the Wonder Works Outta Control Magic and Comedy dinner show. They had some pretty cool magic stunts and I was even part of the show! We had all the pizza and popcorn we wanted and it was a nice evening. There are pics of Brad standing outside the upside down house. The second night, we went to a Brazillian Steakhouse. We went to one of these while in Sao Paolo, Brazil a few summers ago and LOVED it. It was nice to find one in the States and it was very much like the real one in Brazil. The third night we went to Arabian Nights (see post below with those pics) and our last night in Orlando we went to one of our favorite restaurants in Orlando, Fish Bones. It is owned by the same owners of Charley's Steak House and Vito's Chop House and it is AWESOME!!! We also went to a few movies, Downtown Disney, some outlet and flea market shopping and of course Sam's Club and Wal-mart!!
Arabian Nights
We went to a dinner show in Orlando called Arabian Nights. Here are a few snapshots of the evening. The picturs aren't the best because it was high action and dark, but this is what I captured. It was a fun evening. We still like the Dixie Stampede better, but this was a nice dinner attraction all the same!
May 29th Pictures
Alea's actual birthday was May 29th. That evening, we went to dinner with Brian, Tonya and Isaac. Here are some snapshots of the evening. Alea enjoyed another birthday cake and her favorite table food--RICE!! We ate Mexican and then went to the park. It was a beautiful evening and we all had a great time. Alea came home very tired and went right to bed and Mommy, Daddy and Bray all went swimming. Happy Birthday, Sweet Alea!!
