How Cute Am I?

Alea loves tummy time now that she is no longer constipated! Maybe she will learn to crawl soon. We have a praise: we found Simalac low iron formula on Sunday and Alea loves it and is now getting her 22-24 ounces a day and has had at least 2 bowel movements each day since!! Woo-hoo!!!

Playing with Barbies

10 degrees outside, blowing snowy, blizzard warning weather and Braylen and Barbies are swimming inside!! Braylen loves her new Barbie pool and swim time Barbies. She has had a lot of fun today with this new toy!

Yum, Yum!!

Alea discovered that Hair tastes pretty good, especially freshly washed Loreal Kids scented hair!!

Taking pictures for the computer

While snapping pictures of the girls this morning, Braylen got her camera and told me to smile so she could put me on the computer!! I think we may have a future blogger on our hands :)

I later caught her telling Alea to smile so she could be on the computer too!!

Kisses from Alea

Guess what Alea started giving today??? KISSES!! Of course, like most babies, they are open mouthed and you get the occassional tongue as well. Since Brad is gone, I have no one to take a picture of her giving me the kiss : ( so you just have to take my word on it!!! It is soooo cute!!

We knew she would start doing something new this week since Brad would miss it. Hopefully, I can get her to say "ma, ma" too ;)

I'm Going Too, Daddy!!

Daddy is headed to Louisville for the Farm Show. He wasn't going to leave until tomorrow, but with the BIG SNOW STORM heading our way, they decided to leave tonight. Alea crawled (with Mommy's help!!) into Daddy's suitcase. Braylen cried when Daddy told her he would be gone all week and Mommy is just hoping to survive!! I wasn't looking forward to him being gone all week and now with threats of a foot or more snow and 30-40 mph winds, I really an not looking forward to keeping the homefront going, especially without a 4 WD vehicle. But, chin up, we will manage!!

Matching Sisters Again

Braylen is all about matching outfits with Alea!! Here they are in bibs together. Aren't they so cute? We are so blessed with beautiful girls!

Trying to Poop

It is amazing how a couple's conversation, worries and concerns of the day change when a baby comes into the family. Since bringing Alea home she has had a lot of constipation. We are working with switching formulas, trying different foods/juices and just about any "trick" anyone lets us know about! Here Daddy is trying to help her pass a bowel movement! She was finally successful with the help of a glycerin suppository. Please keep her in your prayers as we try to find out what is causing this. One note of encouragement: tonight I actually found a low iron formula and she took 12 ounces of it in one setting!!! She has NEVER taken more than 7 ounces. She loved it. Maybe we are on the right road.... time will tell!!

A Day with Hannah, Justin and Raven

Today, Hannah, Justin and Raven came over for a visit. They are visiting from California and we got to see Baby Raven for the first time. We had a great visit and loved kissing on Raven. Braylen fell in love with Justin and called him "The Daddy."
