Today we all headed to Ft. Wayne. Brad had an MRI (he has a pinched nerve in his neck that is causing extreme pain in his shoulder). He has been seeing the doctor and chiropractor for a few weeks now. Hopefully this will show something so that they can better treat him. While he went for the MRI, the girls and I went shopping. We hit some great sales at Old Navy!! We all ate lunch at Biaggi's (can anyone say yummy?) and then headed over to the zoo. We had a lot of fun and the girls were so good today. We wore them both out and they slept all the way home. We came home and jumped in the pool--it was a nice way to end our fun day!
I have more pictures, but Blogger will not allow me to post. I'll try again tomorrow!!! Check back later!!!
Last night we went to the annual Fourth of July Celebration. They had live bands, kids games, inflatable games, a circus, petting zoo, pony and elephant rides and of course, fireworks. We had a great time!!
Braylen took her first elephant ride at the Fourth of July Celebration!!! If you look at the first picture, you will see a little apprehension in her expression, but she quickly decided she liked it!
Braylen wouldn't let us leave until she had an elephant ear. She thoroughly enjoyed it. Alea liked her Fruity Cheerios!!! Maybe an elephant ear next year, sweet pea!!!
Braylen liked playing on the inflatable obstacle course and the moon jump castle. Alea wanted to get in also!! She had fun watching from the sideline, but cannot wait until she gets to be included in big girl things too!!!
The girls loved seeing all the animals at the petting zoo at our July 4th celebration. Alea wasn't scared at all. She kept grabbing the fur of the bunnies by the handful--ouch!!
Today at church I taught on Gentleness, one of the fruits of the spirit. To help the children practice being gentle, they tossed water balloons into buckets trying not to break them. They had a blast! Well...there were some balloons left, so after naps, Daddy and Braylen had a water balloon fight! It was fun to watch and somehow I got wet too, but I was able to snap a few pictures of the fun before the water came flying my way.
I bought the girls a tunnel to crawl through. You can't see the whole thing in this picture, but it has caterpillar head on the front. Alea loves crawling through this and it is so cute to watch the girls chase each other!
