Go Dodgers!!!

Braylen played Coaches Pitch this year. She was on the Dodgers team. They are a very young team, but made sooooo many improvements this year! Her team made it past the first round of the tournement, but lost their next 2 games. They had a great year and we are so proud of Braylen. She won the award for the Most Improved Player!!!

Little Miss Homemaker

Braylen wanted to make cupcakes for her swim party with friends.

Braylen is in Mini 4-H this year. She is taking No Bake cookies to the fair. This day she was making Rice Krispy treats.

The Past Week

This past week was spent either in the pool or at a ball diamond! Braylen had either practice or a game every night this past week. It was a hot week, so our pool was used a lot too! Today we spend most of the day in the pool! It was nice to relax at home today :)

A Special Gift

Alea's Birthmother sent her a gift for her 4th birthday. Alea got a cat, a few outfits, 2 dolls and a beautiful card. She was quite happy to open this gift. We will always treasure these special gifts from her birthmother. Thank you very much if you are reading this!

9th Wedding Anniversary

Wednesday, June 2nd Brad and I celebrated 9 years of marriage. We didn't go away on an exotic trip, but we did take a few days without kids and went up north to Amish area--Shipshewana, Goshen and Middlesbury. We ate at the Essenhaus restaurant--sooooo Yummy! and we saw a lot of old cars in the parking lot. We had to check them all out :) We also went to the flea market, some downtown Shipshewana shops, The Blue Gate, yoder's popcorn, bulk food store and just driving through the countryside looking at the farms and animals. It was relaxing and fun. Here are some pictures we captured.

Take Me Out to the Ballgame

Braylen is playing baseball again this year. She is in coaches pitch. She is doing very well. Tuesday she had a game. Grandma, Ellen and Madi came to watch! All the excitement was too much for little Alea who zonked out in Mommy's arms!
